Terms and Conditions

These terms are a contract between you and Synctric Technology Pvt Ltd covering your use of LivStatus, including our website, dashboard and API. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use LivStatus for an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

LivStatus monitors websites, APIs, servers, ports, certificates and domains from outside your network, records the results and sends alerts to the channels you choose. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the service, we will give you reasonable notice.

You need to provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access. You must be at least 18 to use LivStatus.

You agree not to:

• break any law or anyone's rights while using LivStatus
• monitor a website, server or network you don't own and don't have permission to monitor
• use the service to attack, overload or probe other systems, including setting check intervals or request bodies to cause harm
• try to get around plan limits, rate limits or security measures
• interfere with the service, other users or our infrastructure
• resell or white-label LivStatus without our written permission
• upload or send anything unlawful, harmful or malicious

When you add a target to LivStatus, you confirm that you own it or are authorised to monitor it. You accept that our workers will send requests to it from our servers, which will show up in its logs and may count towards its traffic. You are responsible for any effect these checks have on your own systems or on third parties you point them at.

We may suspend a monitor or an account that appears to be misused, with or without notice if the risk is urgent.

LivStatus is currently free to use and includes up to 5 monitors per account. We don't offer paid plans at this time. If we introduce paid plans in future, we will update these terms and give you reasonable notice before any charges apply.

We work to keep LivStatus running reliably, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may take it offline for maintenance or because of events outside our control. No uptime guarantee currently applies.

LivStatus is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee that you will learn about every problem. Checks may be delayed or missed, alerts depend on third-party services such as email, Slack and Teams, and a result may not match what every user experiences. Don't rely on LivStatus as your only safeguard for anything where a missed alert could cause serious harm, such as safety-critical systems. You remain responsible for your own systems and for responding to incidents.

LivStatus, including its software, design, logos and documentation, belongs to Synctric and its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while you follow these terms. You keep ownership of the content you put in, such as your monitor settings and the data about your own sites. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service.

You can stop using LivStatus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, misuse the service or if we have to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you first. When your account ends, your right to use the service stops and your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

LivStatus is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent the law allows, Synctric is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of LivStatus. Because LivStatus is free to use, our total liability for any claim is limited to xxxx. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of xxxx, and the courts of xxxx have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or on the site. If you keep using LivStatus after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
